Experience the future of family dental care
As your Torrance family dentist, we make visits simple, positive, and tailored to every stage of life. From a baby’s very first appointment to routine checkups for teens, adults, and grandparents, our focus is trust, healthy habits, and early, conservative care.
Dentistry Done Differently
What family-first care looks like
First visits that feel easy
Short, upbeat, and parent-included. We normalize the office, celebrate small wins, and set the stage for stress-free visits.
Prevention before procedures
We coach daily habits and monitor growth. When needed, we use conservative options like Preventive Resin Restorations (PRRs) and Silver Diamine Fluoride (SDF).
Comfort options for every age
Shot-free Solea laser fillings for small cavities and nitrous oxide for gentle relaxation. Care that fits the person in the chair.
First visits for babies
A friendly “getting-to-know-you” appointment for your child and you. Our Torrance family dentists check development, answer questions, and give age-specific tips for brushing, fluoride, feeding, and habits (thumb/pacifier). The goal: make the dentist feel familiar and help parents feel confident at home.
Tools that keep families comfortable
Solea laser
Many fillings completed comfortably without shots or drill noise
Silver Diamine Fluoride (SDF)
A noninvasive option to help stop certain cavities
Preventive Resin Restorations (PRRs)
Conservative sealing for early groove breakdown
Nitrous oxide
Light, quick-off relaxation for kids and adults
Oral myofunctional therapy
For patients with tongue thrust, mouth breathing, or improper swallowing patterns, we offer exercises to retrain the oral muscles.
Word of Mouth
“Love this place and the aesthetic! Dr. Rosen is a perfectionist. I always feel taken care of by the entire staff. I like that they have the latest technology in dental care as well. Not to mention, the view from the chair is very calming looking out the glass wall. They also have TVs so you can watch while they work. There’s ample parking too, which makes it easy. I highly recommend!”
— Heather N.
“Wonderful clinic and dentist. They go the extra mile to check your insurance before treatment, which is greatly appreciated! Dr. Rosen pays attention to detail, has amazing charisma, and explains anything you ask about!”
— Rebecca N.
“I am so thankful for Dr. Rosen and her team. I’m normally a very anxious patient at the dentist, but Dr. Rosen and Michaela make me feel so relaxed. They are kind and understanding. I’ve never had as good of an experience at a dentist as I’ve had with Dr. Rosen.”
— Gina
“The whole team at Madison Park Family Dentistry is just amazing. They are so welcoming, always with a smile, and truly make the whole process an easy experience. Dr. Karen was so sweet and she did the best job solving an urgent problem I had. Left 150% satisfied with my results.”
— Adriana P.
Answers to your questions
What happens at my baby’s first visit?
During this visit, our Torrance family dentist will examine teeth and jaw development, review brushing and feeding habits, and offer straightforward, age-appropriate advice, all while you are present in the room.
Can you really do fillings without shots?
For many small to mid-size cavities, yes — the Solea® laser lets us work comfortably with minimal sensation. If a tooth is very deep or sensitive, we’ll discuss the best comfort plan.
When do you use SDF or a PRR?
We choose the least invasive, effective option. SDF can help stop certain early cavities without drilling; PRRs seal grooves that need more than a sealant but less than a full filling.
Is nitrous oxide safe for kids?
Yes. It’s widely used in dentistry, provides gentle relaxation, and wears off quickly.
What is oral myofunctional therapy, and who is it for?
It’s a series of simple exercises that retrain the lips, tongue, and cheeks to rest, breathe, and swallow in healthier ways. We may recommend it for kids or adults with mouth breathing, tongue thrust, prolonged pacifier/thumb habits, open bite tendencies, or certain speech sounds.
How often should my family come in?
Most patients do best with visits every 6 months. Higher-risk patients may benefit from more frequent check-ins — we’ll tailor the schedule.
